Details of guest line up TBC.

Ned Boulting is a hugely respected sports journalists and television presenter, who for the last three years has been ITV’s main commentator on the Tour de France, taking over from the legendary Phil Liggett. He first covered the tour in 2003 and his memoir of falling in love with cycling, How I Won the Yellow Jumper was released to rave reviews in 2011. It subsequently spawned two sequels: On The Road Bike: The Search For A Nation’s Cycling Soul and 101 Damnations: Dispatches from the 101st Tour de France.

Last year he launched The Road Book - the inaugural edition of cycling’s first complete almanack already heralded as the sport’s Wisden. He has previously toured the country (including Yorkshire) with two highly acclaimed shows - Bikeology and Tour de Ned. These Y2019 shows will be the first time he and David have taken their on-screen double act onto the theatrical stage.

David Millar is one of the most recognisable and outspoken figures of the modern cycling peloton. He was British national road race and time trial champion, won four stages of the Tour de France, five stages of the Vuelta a Espana and one stage of the Giro d’Italia. He also wore the leaders’ jersey of all three grand tours. Since retiring in 2014 he has starred in the ground-breaking documentary film Time Trial and moved seamlessly into the ITV commentary box alongside Ned Boulting, covering the Tour de France and the Vuelta. His two books Racing Through the Dark and The Racer detail the ups and downs of a sometimes controversial career, including his two-year ban for doping and his campaigning for a cleaner sport after his return. Harrogate’s Royal Hall will be his theatrical debut.

This show has been created specifically for Yorkshire 2019 by Ned and David and is produced by Talbot Productions and Bikeology Productions.
