The Royal Hall in Harrogate has received recognition of its excellent service by one of the world’s leading travel sites.

The historic Edwardian theatre was awarded a TripAdviser Certificate of Excellence for the second year in a row after maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Royal Hall General Manager, Andy Lane said: “The award is based on online reviews by visitors to the Royal Hall. The Certificate of Excellence goes to those businesses which maintain a high percentage of good reviews.

“It’s really good to be acknowledged for the second consecutive year because it means we are getting things right for the thousands of visitors who come to Royal Hall every year."

Heather Leisman, vice president of industry marketing at TripAdvisor, added: “With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honours hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travellers.

“This recognition helps travellers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service. TripAdvisor is proud to play this integral role in helping travellers feel more confident in their booking decisions.”

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a twelve month period.

To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least twelve months.
