KEEPING OUR EVENTS SAFE

HCC and event organisers who lease our space are doing all we can to keep you safe at our events and require your help to do so. Each event is different and consequently different protocols maybe required by the organiser.

Check directly with the organiser before arrival to fully understand any restrictions which may be in place while attending. Your ticket will identify the specific event organiser for your event.

Event security measures such as bag searches may be required for some events. Therefore we request that you keep bag size and any additional possessions to a minimum. We suggest that you allow some extra time for security checks on arrival.

ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS

We review our security measures regularly in consultation with official government local and national security bodies. As a result, these measures have been introduced for all our entertainment events.

HELP US KEEP TERRORISM AWAY

HCC works closely with Counter Terrorism Policing, Project Servator and North Yorkshire Police to monitor security risks and keep our venue safe.

If you notice anything suspicious that may relate to terrorism, please report it immediately to one of the event stewards. Please refer to ProtectUK for counter-terrorism support and guidance for businesses and the public to effectively protect and prepare.
